In short: Can't help the weather but can help the route directions In full: Tough on the ankles due to the mud. Disapointingly, the route was actually 5.2 miles. The volunteers were unbelievably cheery considering the cold and drizzle. Date of review: March 3, 2010

In short: Tough, hot In full: Great support from the sidelines. Should have more water stations in that heat and the parking instructions could be a lot clearer. A tough one for my first time!! Would love it if it was earlier but would still do it again. Watch out for the hills... Date of review: September 28, 2009

In short: Brilliant atmosphere - a fun race with wicked hills In full: This is a great run for atmosphere & for hills - there are several, the first long hill in the 2nd Km kills - but downhills follow. A really good race for beginners, families & groups. Walkers tend to mix in with the runners at the front which is fairly annoying as you dodge round them from the start and, as its village, the parking is in a park n ride or if you are lucky down a sidestreet (which is preferable).
