In short: Organisation good, hills not so good but still enjoyable
In full: Hilly course which was tough and made a pb immpossible, but had bonus of seing other runners since roads used in both directions. Organisation worked really well, lots of t-shirt choice, lots of bananas and drinks stations etc.

In short: Very pleasant run, kit tent was a problem though
In full: Probably due to the cold and wet the kit tent queue was ridiculous, especially after the loo queue. Nearly missed the start although arrived in plenty of time. Race was good, and the sun even came out, the drink stations were excelent - overall quite rewarding.

In short: For a 'flat' course, it was a bit hilly ....
In full: It was implied that the course would be flatter than it is, so quite challenging especially on a sunny day. Well organised and lots of marshalls as well as drinks stations, so definately worth doing. Also very nice touch of jelly babies at 23m.

In short: Good, slightly hilly, challenging course - but really enjoyable
In full: Slightly hilly but very pleasant course, sufficient drinks stations and friendly locals with cooling hoses if needed. Organisation is good and the t-shirts are definately worth collecting.

In short: Strangely tiring for what should have been a fast course, the idea of Silverstone is good but reality was boring
In full: Organisation good, but the delayed start a pain (it was amusing that so many males needed a pre-race wee). Course was boring which was a let-down, also it was tough - perhaps due to higher temp than recent. Goody bag was good and T-shirt was XL but not a bad fit for a M person. Drinks were fine but wastefull since who needs 500ml? Not sure I'd it again.

In short: Perfect weather, good course, nice towel and well worth the pain ...
In full: A good undulating first 7 miles, then a very pleasant return on the Tarka Trail and with perfect weather this year. Also with a bonus of a towel instead of the usual t-shirt or medal!

In short: Perfect weather helped in a challenging but most enjoyable race
In full: Only criticism was the lack of marshals after the final water hazard, it was not clear where the course then went. The hills were a challenge especially in the first 30mins, water and mud were fun especially running 'up' a stream. Very nice scenery and perfect weather made for a great introduction to off-road running.

In short: The long hill kills, but I was warned ...
In full: Very enjoyable, albeit the long hill is just too long. Overall the course is not PB material, but brilliant scenery for the first 11 miles. Water stations were in just the right places and organizers successfully dealt with the postal problems.

In short: Good race, always seems a bit hot and was humid this year
In full: Extra water stations provided by locals (pub and houses) with hose shower just shows what a friendly, fun to do run this is. Hard work with several hills, but an excellent way to spend Sunday morning in June.

In short: Wet and windy but huge fun, especially the last 6 miles on the Tarka trail
In full: Very enjoyable, even though wet and windy - once on the Tarka trail with wind behind and rain abating, it was excellent. The venue is good and the hills not too bad.
