In short: Challenging at times but good overall.
In full: I wasn't sure what to expect from this race, but was pleasantly surprised. Undulating from the start this course zigzagged accross the heath crossing over itself in places. Did not really feel like a 2 lap race as not standard loops. The most challenging bit was at around 8k when you are running straight at the finish area then diverted off for the final 2k loop.... overall a good race

In short: Glorious day, gorgeous scenery great race
In full: Will be doing this race again. Fairly organised - could have done with megaphone at start as could not hear announcements or start gun. Challenging climb up above the vinyard with teh reward of a gorgeous view down and accross to box hill. Undulating terain keeps you on your toes with some steep down hill sections. The final climb back up above teh vinyard is tough - zigzagging up the grassy hillside. Then final 2 miles down hill to the finish, to collect useful momento - tecnical T-shirt (though they had run out of goody bags by the time i finish which was slightly disappointing). Overall great race.

In short: Great route - shame it was so hot
In full: Third time running this race - improved my time from last year, which was a surprise considering the baking hot day. As usual route and marshalls were good. Shame we didn't hear the count down to the start as PA system speakers didn't carry far enough though and only one water point could have done with second. Overall though a good day out!

In short: Great course, shame it was so humid
In full: Good fun for a trail run, not really done much off road so wasn't sure how i would do. Well organised as all 2:09 events usually are, with cheerful marshalls. Good mixture of winding trail with ups and downs - big hill at about 8k was a challenge though.

In short: Fun but with lots of mud
In full: This is the first time i have done this one -so overall after the last minute route changes all went rather well. Great marshalls all had a smile and words of encouragement. Was fun but canal was very muddy.

In short: Good fun - the view at the top makes the up hill worth while
In full: Good fun race - very organised, good marshalling especially at roundabouts. Enjoyed the fun little comments on the distance markers - its a nice touch.
