In short: well done to Big Bren & the team
In full: Please can you do something special for those 119 brave souls for have completed all GNRs. Free entry for life would be nice, or automatic entry would be better. Also, please consider reducing the entry fee.
The Fitness Show could do with a re-vamp, its nothing more than a showcase for golf, rowing & cricket, little emphasis on running & there ought to more stalls for running related stuff

In short: Excellent first-time race
In full: First time running of this race, on a totally flat out and back course along The Esplanade in Burnham-on-Sea. Course is fairly narrow, so numbers may be limited, but there are showers afterwards & a nice pair of socks as a memento. Plus the mince pie went down a treat as well.

In short: Vastly improved, but could get better
In full: The organisation has improved greatly since 2003. However if I have a gripe it is that not enough recognition is given to those runners who have completed all the GNRs. I've now done all 28, but we never get a mention by Sue Barker, Brendon Foster or Steve Cramm. As 2010 is the GNRs 30th birthday, hoe wabout giving us some sort of special reward - like free entry for life.

In short: Will probably be back next year.
In full: Slightly improved goody bag, enjoyed the choccie bar & locozade. Some thought needs to be given to the finish. I had to retreive my kit from the Council House on College Green, yet the finish route maked crossing the road to get there almost impossible

In short: Well organised race, part of village fete & free car-parking. Tea, coffess & cakes afterwars
In full: Almost missed the race as I got lost on the Somerset Levels. The mud & soft underfoot conditions made the 8 very challenging. Would like to run this course when its dry.

In short: Eggscellent race, well organised
In full: Next year it might be worth while sending the numbers out in advance, as used to happen to avoid the crush in the race HQ.
Also some signs to the race HQ at the Podimore Services roundabout would be a great help.

In short: Much improved on 2006!!
In full: Thought the start was greatly improved from 2006 and also 2005.
Not sure about having the baggage buses on Claremont Road as that many runners + only 35 leads to a bottleneck, go back to the system of having the buses at the back of the field, gives more room for changing and a warm-up.
Just one question, why is next year's race on 5 October? That is far too late.

In short: Course could do with a re-think
In full: Who ever thought of a goody bag containing just a tin of soup should be shot.
