In short: Mile one hill, definitely a challenge
In full: After the hill at mile one, a pretty good course, wicked little hill at mile 12! Very well organised. Could have done with some more water after the 11th mile, it was very humid.

In short: Pretty demanding but definitely worth the effort
In full: This was a really well organised event and the 3 drink stations were very well positioned and much needed due to the heat. Sponges were terrific.

The first 4 miles were definitely the most challenging.

There were lots of locals to supporting all runners which was lovely and very encouraging. There were plenty of marshals with tons of support and encourage – especially near the end when all support is definitely needed!!!

I will definitely do it again ;o)

In short: Wonderful race for all abilities
In full: This is a very small intimate race. Very well organised with excellent marshals full of enthusiasm and encouragement. The goody bag at then end was great and finally the weather was superb.

In short: The hardest thing I have ever done, but what an achievement
In full: This was never going to be an easy race, especially for a beginner, however, the sense of achievement at the end was just fantastic (after I had caught my breath back). Having completed the course, I am in absolute awe, for the runners who came in first positions. Beginners should not be put off because the course is hilly. This was my first half marathon and I want to take part again next year and more ;o
