In short: Brilliant race as normal In full: It's definitely a PB course, as shown by so many runners I know today. But it's just at the wrong time of year for me - I'm never really fit enough for it! Great facilities - lovely coffee and cake afterwards and the shower was lovely and warm (I didn't have one - I was just told!). The marshals and organisers did an amazing job. In short: Superb race. Must do it again. In full: The organisation is tremendous, as is the support around the course. It is a PB race and at a good time of the year for decent weather (ie not too hot or cold). Good mixture of standards - not a lonely race, even though it's not got the vast numbers of London! In short: Definitely a race to come back to, either as a runner or a spectator In full: Great race. I hadn't done this for a while but had been to spectate because of the laps and scenery. Really pleased to have been back to race it this year. Fab organisation - Woodstock is such a friendly club. Marshals v supportive (ok, I'll pick out the guy on the bridge for special mention too as he really encouraged me but there were other friendly and encouraging guys and ladies out there too). Hills in the 1st 2 miles of each lap were tough but the rest of each loop was lovely! Date of review: September 19, 2010

In short: Challenging race but definitely one I'd recommend In full: It was hillier than I'd remembered but marshals were great and organisation was faultless. Finishers received a bright yellow tech-top which is the best finishers' memento I think I've ever had. I'll be wearing it all winter on evening runs! Date of review: September 12, 2010

In short: Couldn't fault it. A great race! In full: The marshals were numerous and incredibly supportive. Lots of water stations that were manned with careful people. The atmosphere was helped by excellent entertainment for children - my 3 year old loved the ride/ ice-cream/ magician. The organisers let me make a (free!) number swap at very late notice, which a lot of races don't allow. The ground underfoot was a bit stonier than I'd planned for, meaning that I had to keep moving from side to side to find the best part of the path to run on, but this is, after all, a multi-terrain race. Hills weren't too bad at all. Date of review: July 11, 2010

In short: Fantastic marshalling and organisation In full: First race for a while and I loved it. It felt tough at the time (wind and undulations) but scenery and atmosphere made up for that. Would definitely do it again. Date of review: October 25, 2009

In short: Definitely one I'd recommend! In full: Organisation couldn't be faulted. Goody-bag (t-shirt, medal) supplemented by lots of freebies in stalls around the place (drinks, gels, yogurt, chocolate!). Could have done with more toilets and traffic was terrible on roads on departure (due to road closures and people trying to find detours) but they were the only gripes. Great course with a mixture of not-too-severe ups and downs. Marshals and water stations were superb. Date of review: October 27, 2008
