In short: Shorter course but good support
In full: The course was a fair bit shorter this year, almost half a mile, but the new start seemed to work. Was expecting it to be horrendous at the start but was not at all as cramped as expected.
Did not seemto have te same number of runners and same leek of support as previous years but was still a decent turn outer a non standard race. Lots of fun runners make it an ideal first timers run and no doubt be back next year yet again

In short: Good course but too crowded
In full: To echo previous comments, lovely course but start needs to be staggered more as too congested. I started between the 50/55mins point and I was trying to get past people walking in first 2 km. And what the chap was thinking trying to ride a bike the wrong way down the footpath with 2000 runners coming the opposite way... surprisingly he got knocked over. But apart from that, picturesque, nice flat course, definite pb potential and good support

In short: Faults ok yes, but great
In full: Yes I know their were some pretty big flaws and the water situation could have been quite dangerous. Personally I decided to take the not sure if any water so started walking at 15miles till 20miles and came in an hour after I expected to but I loved it. The support was one of the best I have ever known.

In short: Really Enjoyable
In full: Really enjoyed this race, nice mix of town support and nice scenary out in the sticks. Sure, a few problems with the start and finish, but nothing major to complain about, particularly in comparison to the poor runner who passed away, everything else is unimportant. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.

In short: Very Disappointing!!! Could have been great
In full: Real shame as this has the potential to be a cracking race, but badly let down. Firstly the bus driver got lost going to start, delays at start with no communication! and the least said about the organisation at the finish the better. How they can have runners and spectators mingling together at the is beyond comprehension. I hope the chap who collapsed at the finish is ok, because it took an age to get any help to him.
Plus no medal, so have had to email to ask one to be sent.
On the plus side, good challenging course, with some excellent supportive marshalls along the way.
Shame really, because they are looking for 15,000 runners next year, and I won;t be amongst them unless they can sort out that finish area

In short: Puts Bigger Halfs To Shame
In full: Great race with excellent marshalls out supporting in hideous conditions. Really enjoyed it despite the rain, and it certainly was a tad damp and got a pb by nearly 4 minutes.

In short: Great race, loved it thoroughly
In full: Really lovely run through some glorious scenery. Yes couple of hiccups with organisation at the start, but completely forgot about them once out of the club grounds anyway. Gently undulating course with no major hills makes for a good paced run

In short: Best support ever
In full: Fantastic support especially the kids at the final water station. Yes it was hot, yes it was hilly, and yes it was the toughest race I have ever done, but with that support no way you would drop out.

In short: Always a good race, never disappoints
In full: Always good fun and great turnout from the locals as always. Only issue is my garmin measured first mile at 1.3m and all the others bang on a mile. Organisers admit course may be 5.1 miles. But that is a minor point and I will be back again next year./

In short: Great Support Throughout
In full: Great atmosphere and well organised throughout. Never going to be a PB race, but then I don't believe this is the reason for entering this race.
