In short: Great race!
In full: My second time doing it this year - didn't enjoy it so much but I think that was because I hadn't trained enough so felt a bit depressed at knowing I wouldn't beat last year's time. Very well organised, great route and great atmosphere. Would recommend it to anyone.

In short: Great race for first time at 10k
In full: I'd never run a 10k before and never run in a race with so many entrants. I thought the organisation was extremely professional and the support around the course was great. As a 'plodder' who is trying hard to be a runner I found it a great first try at a 10k - ie I finished!!!!!

In short: Beautiful weather, lovely route, and great fun for a good cause
In full: This was only my second 5k run and the first one I have managed to run the whole way. Great race for beginners as not intimidating due to the large number of runners (and walkers). Only slightly spoiled by some people walking right at the beginning of the race as they joined at the runners start, rather than at the separate walkers start. But great fun, and has made me feel like I might make a runner after all!

In short: My first race. First 2k challenging for a beginner as it was gently uphill! Lovely scenery.
