In short: Awesome scenery and clockwork organisation
In full: What a fantastic race. There were bananas available before the start, bananas, jelly babies and flapjacks (ooohhhhh flapjacks) at the end as well as a free cup of tea or coffee. But it wasn't all about the food, the organisation was like clockwork, the inclnes (not real hills) seemed to fly past amongst the South Oxfordshire countryside. I had a negative split and a very satisfying comeback race. Life doesn't get much better than that (especially with a flapjack in your hand!!)

In short: Well organized, very fast course
In full: Another excellent race, very well organized. No queue for the loos at the start, excellent support around the course, loads of marshalls and an energy drink and chocolate in the goody bag - just what you need. Definitely back next year.

In short: Flat - the course and the atmosphere.
In full: Perfect for a PB as long as there is no wind, completely flat course.
Very boring, 4 laps each of which consisted of running down the side of the side of the rowing lake 4 times, never out of sight of the start/finish line. Some confusion over the start time, other than that there was very little to organise as it was in a relatively small area with no public access, which also killed the atmosphere. One for speedwork on a 10k otherwise I would give it a miss.

In short: Same hill, still hurts.
In full: An excellent race, fantastic scenery despite the fog and extremely well organised. The new finish route was much better this year. The only thing to change next year is to move the 4 mile marker (about a minute further on at my pace).

In short: Great organisation
In full: Another PB at this event capped a great day. The organisation was brilliant, plenty of water stations with sponges. The course is through housing estates and the subways may break your rhythm slightly but the course is quite flat and fast. For those complaining of the gentle rise around 7-9 miles, they should have run the course 4 years ago when there was a really steep hill coming up to the 13 mile mark - that was a real test.

In short: Beautiful scenery, challenging hill.
In full: A lovely race. Most of the course is flat and fast, until you hit the hill at about 8 miles and coming down the other side is even steeper. Much better now the fun run is on a different route. If you were being picky, could do with a proper bag store and the mile markers were not all in the right place but overall a very enjoyable race.
