In short: Picture postcard course, a gret reason to run and some of the nicest people in the running community organise it out of the goodness of their hearts. Unique!
In full: The race ran like clockwork and it was incredible to see a volunteer only event go so well. The marshalls were great and smiled and clappd every runner. Weather great, superb course, amazing atmposphere. Took minutes of PB.

In short: An inspriring race in a beautiful place!
In full: Really well organised. The marshalls were excellent throughout, especially the children dishing out jelly beans! Quite a tough race, but well worth it. A great series!

In short: Great atmosphere both before and after. Very tough though!
In full: The fete was a great way to start and finish the race. I have never tasted a better ice-cream. The day was deceptively warm though. Nasty climbs towards the end made my legs give up. Superb banter and smiles all round at the (near vertical) finish. This race will convert non-fell runners!

In short: V tough course, but one for the future
In full: It was great to run around the course I had watched cars tear around when I was younger. I found lap 3 a bit tough, lap two I pushed too hard. The ending was a bit bemusing. I wasn't sure if I had finished. The marshal had to tell me where to go for (non-existent) goody bag. A big bunch of marshals congregating around a simple turn but one poor bloke at the end looked sloppy. The facilities were great though. A bit low on atmosphere. I'm glad I didn't come on my own! I beat my PB, which made it a special race for me. This race will be both better run and supported in the future no doubt.
