In short: Great race well organised
In full: Great atmosphere, encouraging marshals, few small hills, with testing hill at about 9k, seperates the men from the boys, well recommend for any level.

In short: Great challenging race
In full: First 8 Miles drags you into a false sense of security, then mile 8 to 9 killer hill, most people walked up, really separated the men form the boys! Last 2 miles flat (except last 400 to 100 meters had another hill, had to git and hold in there). Got PB so ecstatic. For newbies bit harsh time limit. Very good and encouraging marshals. Missed instant results so bit gutted.

In short: Great Marathon prep
In full: 3 laps was fine, the hill was not as bad as feared, good marshalling, some busy roads, country roads were all but clear, hard race overall, disapointing finish, no drinks food etc.

In short: Friendly races
In full: This was a nice enjoyable race, with good marshalling only issue was the start was very disorganised, and 3 and 4 mile markers where at 2.88 & 3.9 miles. still enjoyed it though.

In short: Good friendly race, nice course, moderate hills
In full: Great Start and fininsh, (bit strange going over start twice) Good PB potential, semi good marshalling, had to stop to let a car past, missed target of sub 1.55 by 3 secs, also 10 mile marker approx at 10.25 miles. great crowd support uplifted me for a sprint finish, will do this race again.

In short: Friendly race, great marshalling
In full: Great Friendly race, would recommend to new runners, PB potential.

Small Hills are surprisingly invigorating (its about 100m and you can see the top) spurred me on the last mile.

Fantastic soup at finish.

In short: Great race, Hard uphill finish
In full: Great race with PB potential for Average runners, (like me, knocked nearly 8 mins of my PB, fantastic) held back on the first 8 miles to attack the uphill, but did not really notice it, so possible could have gone faster, except the last 400 meters uphill, no chance of a sprint finish. Very well organised.

In short: Enjoyable race
In full: My first 10k race, and knocked 4 mins of my training PB, Great race, I liked the turning back, as it meant you got to see the elite runners going round, although it did knock your stride at the turn. Will run it next year.
