In short: Excellent
In full: This was my second Chilly and I improved by 6 mins as I've got a decent bike this time ! The weather was fantastic, though still a bit windy on the circuit. The organisation was superb again and the instant results are much appreciated. The announcer is fantastic and keeps up a constrant stream of comments throughout. Will be back again to see if I can chip away at my bike time a bit more.

In short: Excellent as always
In full: My fifth time doing this and it was the best yet. We arrived early due to possible problems registering on the day (there had been talk of it being full) but Lliswerry were well prepared and managed the extra numbers with ease. Weather was perfect and the marshals were plentiful and encouraging. It all ran like clockwork and the results were up that night. Well done Lliswerry, excellent job !

In short: Great low-key, well organised race
In full: A few of us did this last year and enjoyed it so we came back again this year despite it being over an hours drive away. It's a no frills, mainly club runners race and is well worth the journey. The organisation was smooth, marshals friendly, and the cakes at the end were great again. Will no doubt be back next year. I only have one criticism and that's the congestion at the start. One guy fell in the stampede but I don't know what could be done about this apart from chip timing perhaps ?

In short: Well organised and good value
In full: My 4th time doing this and the organisation was good as always. Great pb potential, value for money and we even got a technical top this year which is much appreciated. Nice homemade cakes on sale afterwards too.
Thanks Lliswerry Runners will be back again next year.

In short: All good except the route was short !
In full: Third time doing this and there were no problems except the major one of marking out the course wrong which meant it was short. Apart from that, the baggage area was excellent, they had my bag ready on the table for me as I approached. Lots of water stations and they were on each side of the road. I also spotted trays of peeled bananas and orange segments somewhere around mile 9 ! The bollards nearly took me out twice due to not seeing them til the last minute because of the crowds but overall I liked the route. Thank you to all who helped out on the day and to those muppets moaning about the goodie bag, get a life.

In short: A huge improvement on last years race.
In full: The toilet and baggage situation was 100% better this year and I preferred not running on the barrage as it's so bleak and windy. The course was full of twists and turns which I quite liked as it kept it interesting. Results to my mobile were super fast and a nice touch. Overall well organised and no real issues except maybe the chip bins could have been moved further away from the finish as we weren't really able to stop to take them off as we had to keep moving. Maybe position them beside the baggage tents next time.

In short: Faultless organisation yet again.
In full: Great race overall. Good family day out with rides etc and races for the kids. Weather was kind to us which made for a great atmosphere and the commentary was spot on too. Two water stations much appreciated and again the results texted to my mobile was a nice touch. Only issue is that the profile should be changed from flat to undulating as this is definitely not a flat course. Oh and there were no small t-shirts !

In short: Welll organised, enjoyable race
In full: This was my first half and it was a good race. There were plenty of water stations and the organisation overall seemed really good. The wind was a killer though !

In short: Not for the faint hearted
In full: I've only done one 10k before this which was a flat road race so I found this difficult and the weather was appaling. Bizarrely though I got a pb. No complaints about the organisation except there were very few cups of water being handed out at the halfway point and I got none :-(
