In short: Great race, hills can be a challenge but lots of downhill as well
In full: Challenging in places but lots of downhill sections.. The hill at 10-12 mile mark can be a bit of a drag but once at the top its pretty much all downhill to the finish.
If you do some hill running you'll not find this too tough. Support was great and a well thought out t-shirt.. one of the better ones I've had at a race. Well worth trying.

In short: Undulating but fast course
In full: Yes, there are a few undulations but there are plenty of places to pick up speed... you just need to check out the course profile and then make the most of the downhill bits... definate pb course with the right strategy... the finish is lower than the start and there is a long stretch downhill between 6-8k which is where most people fade in a 10k... also not traffic free which is a bit annoying when idiot drivers try to drive into you...
Lots of support at the finish... but didn't get to have any of the homemade cake.. always next year though

In short: Great race but beware those hills
In full: Great race, location, very supportive marshalls, plenty of drinks stations but bloody tough... pretty hilly for the first 6k but then goes downhill where you can pickup speed if you're not too knackered... goes back uphill again for the last mile which might just finish you off. Highly recommended unless your going for a PB

In short: A few small ups and downs but mostly flat
In full: 2 lap course with a few ups and downs around country lanes. Nice glass lock memento - a bit different to the normal medal/t-shirt. Will probably do again instead of the boring 4 lap round the houses Sale 10.

In short: Definately undulating
In full: The first half of the course is uphill so best to hold something back and not go out like a mad thing like I did. Second half is downhill but the long uphill from 2 - 4K really makes you work hard. Add to that a very hot day and not really suitable for a PB... well marshalled and water station half way round which was really needed.

In short: Nice location for a run
In full: Plenty of scenery, plenty of club runners and good potential for a PB. There is a long slow incline but a long fast downhill bit straight after so can be quick if you push through the pain!
My only grip was that there was no water provided at the end. I had to run back to the car park which was a good distance (2k?) from the finish

In short: Bit of a shambles
In full: I guess the organiser went the wrong way when he was leading the runners on his bike. Unfortunate mistake which couldn't really be rectified resulting in a short race.
However, there were no km markers on the course (not sure why?) and the description says there was a goody bag which there wasn't. At least there was water at the end even if we did have to get it ourselves. Overall, too expensive for what I got out of the race in the end. Disappointed.
