In short: 2nd time running this event & unlike last year no disaster picking number up
In full: Good event to start the year off, 1st run since New York & oh boy could i tell. I felt like dying up the first hill & up to mile 4 i was going to quit & take up fat club but no stuck with it, felt ok after that even sprinted the last 5 metres (god im good) very well organised, weather was ok compared to recently, will be back next year to yet again burn the Christmas fatness off.

In short: More rain in London, not the worse nowhere near the best
In full: Long treck down from North West for another run in London (Marathon & BUPA 10000) & yet again little bit of rain. Got there early doors toilet no problem (sorry to person behind me who must be still choking) baggage no problem then the start seemed like forever big races like these need wave starts, i was 20 mins over start line & i was half way! it slowed down a hell of alot here & there which i can accept but hey the drinks stops were fine but that Gatorade tastes horrible sorry! & for two more moans no chip timing & medal had been knocked up that morning in someones garage bit sad for the £30 we paid. Overall i probably wont do this run again just because there are a couple more London runs which are better value for money

In short: Great race for all type's of runners
In full: Great race better than 2007 only because of the weather last year with hurricane albert, good atmosphere, very well organised, plenty of drink stops & an excellent 4 man tent style t-shirt ready for camping! (joke) & well the scenery... its a race track for gods sake what do you expect to see? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically…!” ill be back next year if London dont kill me
