In short: Bigger and better each year
In full: I have done this race now 5 times and it gets better every time! Great race in the sun I really enjoy this race but it is getting so busy now that the chance of a fast time is getting harder. Well organised with more fringe activities for the kids this year which can only enhance this event further.

In short: great race in scotland's capital city
In full: This was my first attempt at Edinburgh.... and im sure it won't be my last.
Despite the rain at the start... the atmosphere was very good, and out on the course you were quite well supported by the spectators.

Jelly babies and oranges handed out by spectators on the run in were gratefully recieved and the finish at musselburgh was excellent.marshalls and stewards on the course and at the water stations did a sterling job.... well done everyone!

In short: Hilly,hilly,hilly
In full: Ihave done this for the past three years and it gets better eveytime. This year was especially memorable for the lashing rain and thunderstorms that would have had moses franticallydigging out his hammer and nails!! The start was on a tarmac road leading into the park which is also where the finish is and there was 4-5 inches of running water flowing down the start line.

Great credit must go to the stewards and marshalls who braved the bad weather for our cause... thank you.Very hilly first part but its reward is a relatively flat/downhill second half.Did it this year as part of my Lochness marathon training which i did in October.

Will definately be back next year hopefully a little dryer this time

In short: absolutely brilliant
In full: What can i say! what an experience. This was my first marathon and i really didn't know what to expect, but i can honestly say i could not have wished for a better experience.everything was so well thought out,the people were so friendly and supportive.Even the weather couldn't spoil it although it tried!I must say hello to the lady how, on leaving the same hotel in Beauly as i picked up my bag by mistake, what was the chance of that!. I hope your race was as enjoyable as mine.BIG THANKS TO ALL HELPERS without whom the event just wouldn't have been the same.... ohh just for the record my time was 3hrs 49mins.
