In short: Tough
In full: Watch the first and second miles, they could waste you. Uphill all the way on those. The downhills dont compensate enough. Take off road shoes on this one. No medal or momento though. Be a n nice touch for the future.

In short: A fun time out for the serious runner
In full: Overall, something different if you are used to standard XC or road. Go with friends and have a laugh. Dont take this too serious.

In short: Challenging
In full: Great if you like this sort of thing. Dont go expecting a good 'run'. As it was the first year, there was noting to benchmark yourself on. All in all a nice race to brag about back at the office. Serious runners stay away.

In short: Good race, worth doing.
In full: Agree with comments before. 6-9miles is tough. Hilly. Crowd and support were excellent. Very wet conditions at the finish made the grsss/mud slippy. Only thing missing were showers.

In short: Great Testing Race
In full: Great race, up and down all the way. Cool Goodie bag, nice slick organisation. Like to have seen showers. Start and finish a little congested with traffic and runners.

In short: Shh....I want to keep this quiet
In full: Travelled a fair way for this one. What a truly excellent race! Not a PB course due to hills. Great scenery, 200 people max, friendly marshalls, good organisation. Free Tea and buns, medal and a T-Shirt....but dont tell anyone. Ok?

In short: Great Race for all abilities
In full: Fine 10k up and down the sea front. Can get congested. Chip timing perfect for this. Excellent for a PB, goes without saying.
Organisation was good as well.
