In short: Superb Trail Race, vitually flat and very scenic. Lovely Town to visit too!
In full: I really enjoyed this race. It was very hot today and little wind to help, but everything was so good, and how can you really complain about the sun shining!
This was my first 10k for 8 years and I was trying to get under 50 minutes, I actually did it in 47:13, so very pleased! The first time I have run under 8 minute miles for 6 miles in a very long time...
I would recommend this to all comers, I will be making it an annual event.

In short: Great race route, spoiled by poor planning and lack of information
In full: This was my first Bath Half and I had eagerly anticipated it. Once in the City on foot there did not seem to be any clear directions to the 'runners village', then once into the rugby club, the field was a bog so no go for me, this meant that I (and most other runners) were not getting any information. I had to go hunting for officials to find out that the race was delayed by 1 hour.
Once in the sheep pen, things were fine, just as per every other large scale race. I was across the start in 3 minutes and then really enjoyed the course and the great atmosphere from the spectators and the runners. The course was a little testing, but it brought out the best in me and I set a PB for 10k, 10 miles and the Half.
To sum up, I would love to do this race again, in fact every year, but the organisers have got to learn from other mass events and step up a gear.

In short: Superb course and great atmosphere. One to run every year!
In full: This was my first race for 8 years, following injury and a few years in the doldrums. Definitely the best 10 mile race course in the UK. The atmosphere was uplifting right through and although it rained, this was easily pushed to one side because the race was so good.
