In short: Fast, good atmosphere and good organisation on the whole!
In full: I had a cracker of a race and took 5 mins off my pb, so not many complaints from me! I don't think anyone can complain about the scenery, you must know what you are signing up for on a race track! The mile markers were excellent. Marshalling good. Water stations good, each side of the road. Goodie bag ok, definitely would think they could use different sized t-shirts, perhaps organise them in different categories for pick up along the finish area, shame cos it would be a nice t-shirt but now I won't get any use out of it, or maybe as a nightdress. Nice medal. Thought the 9 minute miler pacer lady went off too quick and stayed too quick. I was clocking 9 minute miles and she went out ahead of me fairly prompt and I never saw her again, plus the banner she was carrying was far too low, couldn't see it at all.
Having said all that, it was a good race and I had a thoroughly good day out.

In short: Like a pancake!
In full: Made a 250 mile round trip for this one from south derbyshire! Thought the organisation was very good, no hassles entering on the day. great facilities at the sports centre after, it was nice to get a shower without queuing for ages, ditto for the loos! this is due to the fact it's not a big race, but it was nice to do a small and rural race. the course was flat as a pancake, as you would expect in the fens, but this proved fairly taxing on a long stretch from miles 8 to 11! Enjoyed the day and did a reasonable time for me. Marshalls all friendly and supportive. Liked having the medal placed over my head at the end, made me feel like a real athlete!! well done east cambs, enjoyed my day.

In short: burn, baby, burn!
In full: Verrrry slow one for me, but happened to us all i think, in those sauna-like conditions! The lovely countryside would have been a pleasure to run through in cooler climes. Did seem like lots of steadily rising hills without a lot of down. Good marshalls, good crowd support and good T-shirts with everyone's names on- i liked that. Defo think there could've been an extra (earlier) water station. Have to add thanks to the hose man and also to the cyclist standing just before him with extra water...greatly appreciated. Can see why so many folk dropped out, felt verrrry groggy myself for quite a while after. hope all are well now. anyhoo, lovely course and would do it again on a cooler day!

In short: enjoyable race.
In full: Love doing this race and finishing in pride park is special. I had a bit of a disastrous run today, but that was me not the course! It was definitely more hilly than last year and the scenery wasn't as good. Thought the T-Shirt was top notch, can actually use that one for training, so at least you get something good for your money! Highlight was high-fiving Rammie on the way into PPS!!

In short: well organised, mildly challenging, enjoyable race, good marshalling.
In full: This was my first asby 20 and i thoroughly enjoyed the occasion! it was very well marshalled by supportive and cheery people which really gave me a boost. the stations were great, love the choccie!! the organisation was smooth and the finish area was superb, with no confusion. the course was undulating but nothing majorly troublesome! only one teeny tiny gripe, at the start there was no clear marker of the start line, so those of us further back didnt know when to start our watches and had been timed from the 'gun time'. but this is one i would do again and found it great preparation for the stockholm mara in 12 weeks time!

In short: a pleasant run with good organisation and a few hills!
In full: I really enjoyed running this today, I thought it was well organised and friendly. The course wasn't the easiest in the world, very undulating but it was very scenic in places and I would certainly do it again.

In short: with a little tweaking on the organisation it could be a great race.
In full: agree with all comments listed so far, the finish area was a shambles. i couldnt find the water station on the course or at the finish because it was so crowded. very long walk back to a carpark that should have been free for runners as we had already paid enough on the entry fee. nice medal but definitely would want to see a goodie bag next time for that price and it would make it more beginner friendly.
