In full: Given it takes place mostly on a canalside track, it would not be much fun underfoot on a wet miserable day; but on a glorious autumn day with only a few pockets of mud & puddles, it was delightful.

In short: Fabulous race, tough in parts but wonderful support from all
In full: Brilliantly organised, with cheerful helpful marshalls - thank you all so much for making it such a special day. Very friendly fellow runners. Water stations ran like clockwork - my drink I had left earlier appeared as I approached - didn't even have to slow down! Fabulous place to run - quiet country lanes, fields full of wildflowers, shaded woods ... can't WAIT to do it again!

In short: Lovely marshalls- great atmosphere
In full: Feel 9am is very early start for Sunday morning ... had to get up well before 7am which I think is a bit OTT. I believe last year the start time was 9:30 and I think that is a more user-friendly time! But good race nevertheless.

In short: Very friendly & great marshalls
In full: Only criticism was there were no mile or km markers. This made my carefully prepared race band redundant and it would really have helped my pacing as inevitably I started too fast and crashed near the end.

In short: Well organised but huge water bottles - what a waste! Alternative is you carry them with you but they're very heavy. Smaller ones next year? ?

In short: Truly for all-comers - I was convinced I would be in last 10 or 20 but there were over 100 behind me!
