In short: Stunning location, and nice challenging course
In full: Strange to start a race passing ostriches and tapirs! Lovely rural course with plenty of hills in the first half. Excellent marshalling, and a real feeling of occasion. Very hot day made this harder than I'd expected.

In short: Smooth organisation, nice fast course
In full: Really good signage and marshalling. Nice flat course, with plenty of interest, with a fair bit of it along the sea wall.

In short: Beautifully organised - great race
In full: Really fun event blessed with good weather. It ruthlessly exposed by under preparedness though. 26 minutes shy of my PB, because my legs fell off after a fast first half.

In full: A really well organised event. Perfect warm up race for a spring marathon. Lots of friendly marshals, clear signs and great weather made this a special race.

In short: Cold, wet, windy, but good fun
In full: Weather was appalling, with a big rain shower just before the start, and another storm halfway round the course. Lots of standing water. Good marshalling, chip timing and a warm race HQ made it feel really well organised.

In short: Super-fast course in almost perfect weather
In full: Start was much smoother and less congested than last year. Encouraging marshalls. Weather was cool with just a short rain shower. Water feature was unexpected. Liked the cake in the goody bag. Great race.

In short: A really slick, well-organised event
In full: This is the best organised race I've run so far. Masses of marshals, no missing mile markers, great signage and directions from the marshals. Plenty of water stops. Superb. Fairly scenic too, nice country villages, some riverside running, and I've never seen a Turkey farm before!
