In short: The last hill hurt
In full: First time at the event and I knew what to expect with the first hill as you turn onto the main road. But I hadn't realised the last hill would be quite that though.

Good organisation, picking up number was painless. The race instructions said presentation would be in the visitor centre so I nearly missed that. Only found out it was at the finish about 1 minute before the presentation.

Good support on the final section and well marshalled event. Will be back again next year hopefully, really enjoyed it.

In short: Top quality race
In full: Easy parking, quick number/chip collection, started on time, efficient results service, good shower facilities. Everything ran like clockwork, what more could you want.

In short: Liverpool delivers again
In full: My fourth consecutive year at this event and probably my favourite. The entry fee is well spent on road closures and stewarding and t-shirt/medal if you like that sort of thing. I'm not really into goody bags but appreciate an energy bar or drink but this bag was pretty empty.

Could have done with a steward at the underpass under Aigburth road as a few runners in front of me carried straight on and I had to shout to tell them to turn.

The course is at least mainly stable now although a small change in the first mile - no wrong turn for me this year!

10 minute delay at the start and the announcer's comment of "don't rush" to the late arrivals was not welcome given the cold wind blowing in off the mersey.

Reading that back it sounds a bit negative, but the event was really enjoyable and I'll be back once again next year.

In short: A great debut
In full: Excellent road closures, flatish course with only mild undulations, good (albeit low volume) support, well marhsalled, quality long sleeved t-shirt (that wasn't adorned with sponsors names like usual t-shirts) and chunky medal.

Having to be in pens 30 minutes before the start was a bit much for an event of only approx 4000 runners. There seemed to be some issues with the number of toilets although I didn't really have any issues.

Overall, very impressed and hope it returns next year.

In short: As usual, great event
In full: The wind was a challenge this year but as usual Stroud AC staged a great event. Text message with finish time & position straight after you cross the line. Great marshalling, cones out on the open roads, and good support despite the wind/rain.

In short: Great little event
In full: Nice little event. First half undulating, second half pretty much flat.

Am certain it's not 4.2 miles though. 4 miles seems right to me. 4.2 miles would put me at a pace I know I'm not currently capable of running for that distance.

Distance markers every half mile with the course record shown were a nice little touch though.

Good to have Lucozade support there and free mug was something different.

Well done Erewash - will be back next year

In short: Good event
In full: Don't recall any flat but there was lots of downhill and a couple of tough climbs. The first isn't too bad as you're fresh. The second from 7-9 miles is hard going. Not much support en-route but the locals are friendly and it's a well organised event. Really enjoyed it. The water & sponge stations were very useful.

In short: Thanks
In full: Started bang on time and results online very quickly. Friendly & supportive marshalls and good atmosphere. Mainly flat route with only a couple of slight inclines. Good race. Will be back again next year

In short: Flat & Fast
In full: First time at this and it was a very good event. 3 laps so despite what previous reviewer has said there were 3 opportunities for water - 1 water station passed 3 times.

Mainly flat course with only a cfew minor inclines. A few little twists but some long straights. That can be tough mentally, but if you can cope, it's quite good to see the runners in front
