In short: Nice half marathon for all.
In full: Always a good run out at Eastbourne. Marshalling well appreciated on a cold windy day and the first 3-4 miles are pretty and nice town atmosphere.

The run from that point is always hard along the beach but running by the sea can't be faulted and is why everyone chooses to come here.

Add my thank you's to the girls at mile 11. Best marshals of the day!

Small gripe about the delayed start. Hard to stay warm on a freezing morning 15 minutes after warming up.

Thanks to the organising team.

In short: A massive improvememt on 2010 - a great half marathon again
In full: Well done to all involved this year, it was a great race to be a part of.

THe new course layout was excellent and by far the best one yet - stick with it! Marshals were excellent as were the water stops and the finish was well managed.

This had a real big-city half-marathon feel to it finally and was great to see the race recover its mojo!

In short: Decent local race on a flat 10k
In full: This was an OK race, with very friendly marshals the real high point.

I'd only recommend it to people if they were chasing a PB opportunity though.

In short: Good old Henfield-Half
In full: A regular on the race calendar and always does what it says on the tin.

A challenging route, which I find knocks about 10 minutes off your road PB.

One constructive crticism I always add is that a 3rd water station would be very much appreciated.

In short: Great for first timers or veterans!
In full: This being only my second multi-sport event, I can hardly claim to be an expert, but I thoroughly enjoyed this.

The Brighton Beach Aquathlon is made for a PB, as the running course is as flat as a pancake and the distance is quite unusual.

The organisers get full marks for providing a fun and friendly small event, with goodies at the finish line (home-made muffins!) and a race director who always answers all the questions from newbies with enthusiasm and patience.

I'd recommend this for all.
