In short: Not the most exciting but i still enjoyed it
In full: Ok, its not the most stunning place to run on earth, but it was ok. Good organisation, a little thin on support and as such lacked a little atmosphere. Weather was awful so it would have been really hard for a marathon as the 3 laps would have become a real ball ache

In short: A Great Race and "One for all" to try!!
In full: It was a great race for different reasons. The course was never going to give you a PB and the fact that part of the races reason for being is to encourage running and subsequent charity sponsorship ensured a mixed crowd of experienced and non experienced runners.

I had no problems with the start or organisation and it was a very enjoyable race. I don’t even mind not getting a goody bag as i think its better to keep the money in the charity coffers for a change!!

A big special thank you to the Tomlinson family for a very special day.

In short: A very enjoyable race with nice views and good organisation
In full: This was my first race so its hard to give a comparison. I have never been to Ackworth but once your near by you see plenty of signs for car parks. A quick walk to the main area and you see the school for new registrations. One quick form later and £19.00 lighter you have a race number. I quickly changed in a class room and got chatting with a few other runners that had run the race in previous years. I was made to feel very welcome and didn’t experience any clickyness. The race started on time without any incident and we were off. Drink stations were plentiful and even had Lucozade a mile 5.

The entire event was well organised and well executed. The race was scenic and other runners made you feel very welcome? Could you want or expect more? I for one could not!!

I will be running this again next year, Thanks
