In short: Excellent new route
In full: First time I ran this race was in 2007, that started and ended in Sefton park, this year with the city works out of the way it was a much better route, so nice to have the parks half way though when you can enjoy them and great to end running along the river front.

Glorious weather too,

In short: Once is enough
In full: Reasonably well organised, we knew what we were getting but the gig beforehand didn't work, it must have been hard for the artists to play in front of 1000s of disinterested runners as well as hard for the runners.

Horrible route - though I know Brent is ugly, only went to step on the Wembley pitch - I have done that now.

In short: Muddy
In full: Enjoyed the race, was mildly hilly and muddy but who wants flat roads. Well organised with friendly marshals and staff.

In short: Decent chalenge for a Sunday morning.
In full: Have to be predictable and mention the t-shirt. I like hills anyway so no complaints there. V. well organised.

In short: Great first 10k
In full: Coming by train from London that day was not the most pleasant nor was getting back. Travelling for 10k along the front and ending up where I started though was a joy. First ever 10k and was well pleased with my time, enough so that I did not care too much about the bags at the end. Missed several markers, though I did see the 1/2/5/6.5/8/9 which was enough for me. Water, not a lot of point for me until I manage to learn how to get it into my mouth.

See you next year with hopefully a nice smooth travel there and home too.
