In short: What is it about running events that brings the best out of London?
In full: I really enjoyed this - it even beat the GNR for me!
The organisation was excellent - I actually found the baggage drop process really efficient. The marshalls were excellent and I loved the loudhalier idea (VLM could learn from this one). The route is fantastic and takes in the best of London's architecture with the beauty of the parks - overall a top event.

In short: Friendly, nice route and bargain price
In full: Well organised, friendly and plentiful marshalling and a lovely route along the Lune and out into the country. A couple of challenging hills thrown in for good measure!

In short: Run one Marathon, then walk another one back to the buses...
In full: My second time running Edinburgh but don't know whether there will be a third.
First, the positives. The marshalls and drinks station volunteers were great, friendly and supportive. Thank you all. The route is very picturesque although it would have been nice to spend more time in the City itself (perhaps it can finish there with better planning?
On the negative side, the wind was horrendous for the last 8 miles. It was hard to stand up, never mind keep running. Absolutley brutal. Obviously, nothing anyone could do about that but hats off to anyone that managed a PB in that! On the race organisation itself, overall I thought it was fine (the web site and e-mails were good) but the finish area was a shambles.
My rant, though, is reserved for the shuttle buses - they were about a 25-30 minute walk UPHILL from the finish and the queues were 1/4 mile long. The organisers should call the GReat North Run and see how it should be done (with 3x as many people!). It felt like we had to walk another marathon after finishing the race - very shoddy.

In short: Brilliantly organised, fantastic atmosphere....simply the best
In full: Organisation second to none, atmosphere the best. Despite the inverted snobbery of some, this is still THE race to run.

In short: Beautiful route, uber-friendly marshalls
In full: My first time at this one. A lovely day helped but I thought the scenery was lovely. The signage and organisation were first class but what really made it for me was the oh-so friendly marshalling. Among the best that I have encountered and, although I was near the back, their enthusiasm and encouragement kept me going to the end. I'll be back....

In short: An honour to be running in a Jane Tomlinson event - a good day
In full: One of the best organised events I've been to - some larger events could learn a lot. I enjoyed the course as I get bored on long straight roads so a slightly twisty course made a nice change. Blacburn isn't the most scenic town in the world but the start and finish in the park was nice and thefact that all the marshals and stweards had smiles on their faces all day counts for a lot. Jane would have been very proud.....

In short: Boring course but made up for by the organisation, atmosphere and marshalling
In full: Going 4 times round a flat, windy lake wasn't that much fun but the organisation was great, the marshalls very enthusiastic and friendly and the Liz Yelling seminar really useful.
Overall, well worth the trip.

In short: Well done to the organisers - almost snowbound
In full: Good race but special mention to the marshalls and organisers. After heavy overnight snow they could have given up on it but really pulled out all the stops.
Enjoyed the whole experience and a PB as well!

In short: Well organised, friendly, scenic - what more could you ask for?
In full: After the dreadful recent weather, well done to all concerned for getting the race on. The course was in good condition and the 'Plan B' parking arrangements worked fine. And a new PB - very excited!!
Well done to all concerned, great organisation, friendly and plentiful marshalling and the beautiful Ribble Valley as well. See you next year!
