In short: Hardest x-country I have ever done!
In full: My fourth Plod, but one I will never forget! Portsmouth Joggers once again out-did themselves with the fuel stops, marshalls were fantastic as usual.

Course was the hardest I've done in a long time (ultras are the only races I've found harder), great experience to share with a friend!

In short: Great local event!
In full: Small, low key, but brilliantly organised. Good idea to change the course on the day, two laps of the big loop would have been difficult with all the frozen mud! Organisers and volunteers were friendly and approachable. Excellent value too! Loved it!

In short: What a way to start the year!
In full: The best atmosphere of any race I have done in years! Despite the tough course (the toughest 10k I've ever done), everyone was full of smiles on this very cold January morning. Loved the handicap system, which gave the event a less competitive feel. Great mementos at the finish. Could not fault it.

In short: Great introduction to the sport
In full: My first triathlon, set along quite country roads with some great views. The bike course was hilly, but the downhill parts were very enjoyable! Organisation was spot on, and the other competitors were some of the nicest I've met at any sporting event! The price is also half of what you would normally expect to pay for a triathlon!

In short: Fantastic Day!
In full: Every member of our two teams thoroughly enjoyed this! Most had never entered a competition before, and the team spirit throughout the day was superb, even though the last runner got rained on! Nice medal, amazing scenery, one of the checkpoints was wrong on the map, but this didn't cause any major problems. We'll be talking about this for months, despite one of the teams coming last (we think)!

In short: Great evening!
In full: Blessed with perfect weather. Start was a bit tight when you were forced from four lanes into two, but that was only for a short while. Course was perfectly flat, enjoyed the two laps. Throughly enjoyable evening.

In short: Flat
In full: Wasn't blessed with the best weather; running along the seawall left me soaked! Nice and flat though, which is probably why my whole group got competative PB's. Stones halfway and grass at the end were a bit draining however. Nice mars bar at the end!

In short: Hilly, but fun
In full: Wasn't expecting quite as many hills! Don't really remember going downhill at any point either. Still, a well organised race, and a good turnout from all abilities. Beautiful weather for it too!

In short: Hilly but fun
In full: Would certainly describe this as hilly! Nice atmosphere at the start and finish, little in between though. A wide enough range of abilities, pleasing countryside after the first couple of km. No problems with the organisation.

In short: Amazing day!
In full: A truely amazing experience. Never ran further than 10 miles before, and the mud and hills made this VERY difficult, but the marshalls were the most encouraging I have ever encountered. This was one of my biggest achievements to date, I probably ate my entry fee's worth of food as well!
