In short: If you only ever run one marathon this is it.
In full: First timer but will be back. Its impossible to describe how overwhelming the noise/support/atmosphere is and it made me more mentally than physically tired but I will know better next time and its still a PB ;-)!
The organisation after the finish does need some fine tuning, felt we were all left to fend for ourselves but thats easily sorted. If you are, or ever aspire to be, a runner get a place and go for it you wont regret it.
Bring on the 2013 ballot!!!

In short: Great prep for London. Very well thought out event
In full: Overall a very enjoyable run once the rain stopped and it got a little warmer. A race designed by runners for runners with the drinks stations in exactly the right place. More inclines than hills so a nice stretch in places all road running apart from last 400m in the park. Will definitely do next year.

In short: Great, well organised and well supported 10K
In full: Ran this a few years ago and found it easier this time(probably becuase I knew the course a little). A simple, well organised race in a lovely part of the world with a full goody bag (medal and t-shirt) at the end who could ask for more. Does get a little crowded around 9k but pick a quick bunch and you're away. Will definitely be back.

In short: Hilly but fair
In full: Well organised well marshalled run round the Warwickshire countryside. Luckily the the weather was kind once we started and the route was enjoyable although one too many hills for me.
First time at the event but will definitely run next year.

In short: Flat and quick but an uninspiring venue
In full: Simple, quick race with good marshalling. Nice to get support and a drink each lap. Agree with the comments on the goody bag, really wanted a medal for my first half.
My main gripe was the finish - down, back and down again. The section back up was messy and didnt seem to have been run one before we turned up - surely it would have been possible to extend the laps elsewhere so you ran down the finishing straight once.

In short: Ideal 1st run of the year. Good test and good length
In full: Fisrt go at the Roman nine. Very well organised with a nice short walk to the main area for a quick stretch. Nice easy start and quite flat then a couple of good testing hills, after that it seemed mostly downhill. Very well marshalled with lots of support all the way round. Would definitely run again.
