In short: Quality race as ever - even in the downpours !
In full: My 7th or 8th time here. Never dissapointed. It is well run, well marshalled and in a great part of the world. The traffic issues are now sorted out from previous years. A couple of testing hills thrown in for good measure. Dreadful wetaher today but somehow managed aPB by 24 secs.
Big thank you to the organisers and I pitty the cleaners at the school later !!

In short: Great way to run off the Christmas cake
In full: I have done this numerous times. It is always good fun and mildly challenging. The only fault is the utterly confusing distance markers which no one can understand. They appeared all mixed up. Please put them in colour code for 5k and 10k and make it clear if it is distance left or distance done !
Other than that is always a well organised race

In short: A great trail race in beautiful Studland
In full: I revisted this race after a four year gap and surprised myself with beating my 2007 time by six and half minutes....!!
Lovely part of the world and the weather was great. Even had a cooling dip afterwards in the sea. Didn't see a medal though???

In short: Well organised race in the beautifil New Forest
In full: Good race with a sting in the tail at miles 10 - 12 with a few up and downs and a bit of mud thrown in. Well marshalled and a very generous goody bag with t shirt and medal and goodies.
Only slight worry is that I think it was short of distance by about .3 of a mile...3 of us all measured just under 13 miles on our watches and didn't run together.
Otherwise a great race.

In short: Mud, glorious mud 9and hills)
In full: 2nd time after running it three years ago but found the course the same apart from that ditch ! It's hard, it's hilly, it's muddy and great fun. I can't make my mind up about the ditch - yes it was fun but caused a queue and some people were getting mightily hacked off with it!!

However, great organisation and in a great part of the world.

p.s. Can the school get the mens showers repaired, particulalry if the ditch is there next year. They were bad 3 years ago and even worse this year !!!

In short: Great race, friendly, competive and lovely part of the world.
In full: pb by 14 secs so happy. Can't fault this race - perhaps ditch the plastic carrier bag to be more eco friendly but thats my only negative. Well done to organisers.

In short: fast and flat around the Hampshire / Dorset Lanes
In full: Great training for London. Fast and flat with all road crossings covered by enthusiastic marshalls. Plenty of drink stations.
Well organised and a good race.

In short: Good off roader, bit bunched at start but otherwise quite tough.
In full: Ice meant the course had to be shortened from 14 miles to 10.3 meaning an out and back. Nothing we could do about that but would have preferred a longer course. Good Marshalls, enough water stations, a few tough hills in a lovely part of the New Forest

In short: Good course and a nice race for a New Year refresher !
In full: 3rd time for this one. Always enjoy the course even though not a PB potential. Icy conditons this year made it a bit hairy in places. I found it got a bit conjested at the finish with the 5 K runners. Not sure if they changed their start time? Otherwise no major probs, Toilets were OK - never enough to satisfy everyone but I queued for 5 mins only 15 mins before start.
Good charity race.
