In short: Superb end of year race, this year with superb organisation!
In full: Again another excellent evening. Organisation is a step up from previous years. Main race was a bit packed, but they did try to stagger the start according to times. Unfortunately this relies on honesty of runners to work! Overall brilliant night and well done Helen and the team!

In short: Bit crowded this year, but excellent as usual.
In full: Starting to get too popular! This year being the 50th race had too many people running for the course, spent the first lap desperately trying to move forward faster, and the hairpin at the top of the hill having to queue to turn around. Still superb night with a major party atmoshere. Shame they ran out of party bags, I understand this was due to the large no of "on night entries" but should have had enough for everyone! Linford Christie was icing on cake, great that he spent time interacting with the crowds. Overall, excellent night, however, the organisers must attempt to control the races better if numbers continue to rise.

In short: No frills but well organised when you found it.
In full: Very well organised race when on course, HQ a little far away and ticky to find for an out of towner. Lovely course, flatish (would be fantastic in summer!) Absolutely freezing day. Momento and cup of tea at end would make a special race for little extra outlay. Overall good day and great time for a race, on a Saturday and in the afternoon. Well done MKAC.

In short: Great evening, well organised, very friendly.
In full: Once again a really good evening. Superb organisation, plenty of marshalls, all very friendly. Surface mainly cinder, not a surface I like but at least its flat. Def pb potential. Minor comment, medals are great quality, but same as last year, suggest having year engraved on back. (I know I can do it, but if this is the only thing I can find wrong, then shows you how good the whole thing is!!!)Excellent social BBQ afterwrds make a very pleasent evening. Well done A&FF.

In short: Superbly organised, great day out.
In full: Absolutely excellent day out. Organisation was spot on. All marshals were brilliant for encouragement, even if the organisers had put them all in plastic bags for the hottest day of the year!!! Minor gripe over water stations, as mid point one was rationing water when I got there and second station had run out, but such a hot day demand was probably greater than expected. Overall, favorite race of year, superb organisation, well done ARC (Again).
PS. Suberb momento! How did they do that for the price?

In short: Nice course well marshalled, steep hill to end.
In full: Very well organised, lovely local race. Finishing with enthusiastic crowd and craft fair/fete. Well marshalled.
Couple of minor gripes, its a bit expensive if you enter on the day. Normally £8 for affiliated runner, but £12 on day. As there was three of us in the family this was a little off putting. (I Know enter earlier!) Plus, the finish was in the fair, but spectators were charged £1.50 to enter!! So in effect my 4 suppoters were charged £6.00 to see the finish!! A little out of order me thinks!.
But overall, a really nice day out on a Bank Holiday and loved the drummers at Start and Finish.

In short: Great great race, but the course is a killer!
In full: Do not do this unless you are in peak form, its a tough course especially the second half! I have had a bad training year due to illness and was not well prepared, this course found me out! Saying that, great social event and even the snow held off until after the finish.
Coaster was nice, but some other stuff would have been welcome, I though at first that I was being given a token to collect my goodie bag! Drink /energy bar/banana etc wouldnt cost the earth.
Scenary outstanding! Definately do this again, but I will train specifically for it next time, now I know what horrors await.

In short: Great fun day out.
In full: Did this as a bit of fun for the youngest member of family, but actually I enjoyed it more. Good 3 field cross country course, with mud/stream and some hay bales (and sheep poo!) Worth a day out, lots of fun.

In short: Superbly organised, great day out.
In full: Lovely village event, well organised and entusiastic marhals. Really good day out for all the family. Course was fine, a few uphills but generally a pb course! By pass only course downside but it was still possible to overtake if you had the energy. A goodie bag of some discription would have been nice for the younger family members, but overall a great little race.

In short: Great start to a new year, flat course on the whole
In full: Good race, well organised through the campus of Warwick University. Reasonably flat. A bit clubby, but dont let that put you off, as its a very good club that organises it. Nice facilities and refreshments. Sets you up for the year ahead!
