In short: well organised race, nice facilities, cheerful organising team! Could have done with the awards a bit sooner after the finish though.
In full: The 10k seemed to be the poor relation to the duathlons, but thats fair enough as it was mainly a bike/run race I guess. Not a criticism of the organisers at all - just the way it felt to me.

In short: Geat morning out - excellent, enthusiastic marshalling and organisation
In full: My first trail race (or trail run for that matter) so the ankle twisting potential was a surprise to me. That persuaded me to run slower than normal road pace which took away the normal pressure of the clock. Was still pleased with my placing though. Nice people, more relaxed than a road race, with a good atmosphere. How did the winner run 6mm's when some of the up and down was at 45 degrees? Kudos!

In short: nice start and finish area for picnic, enthusiastic kids on the water/sponges and personally I liked the pedestrian walkway nature of most of the course. Well done to all who helped organise it. Cheers Chris.
In full: My wife thought that there weren't enough portaloos, and that they were in a disgusting state when she took the children to them.

Quantity - down to the organisers

Condition - down to us runners!
