In short: If only there were more marathons like this
In full: Thank you to the marshalls - there were plenty of chances to take a wrong turning had there been less marshalls.

A "personal worst" time for me but a race with very special memories none the less. I'll be back next year

In short: tougher than I expected
In full: an undulating course on the 1st lap that suddenly becomes hilly on the 2nd lap!!
Scenery is nice tree lined roads however, the view does get a bit monotonous after 13 miles of the same. Really nice to run a whole race without seeing a single car

In short: Full marks to the organisers. I'll be back next year
In full: Great race and the organisation was like clockwork with loads of marshalls. Having cold sponges at the waterstations was a welcome addition for a summer race.

In short: well done to the organisers - defenately recommended
In full: A really good route with the potential of being very fast. The only downside is the lack of spectators to pull you through the pain.

In short: A welcome addition to the usual marathon warm-up races
In full: A nice mixture of airfield and country lanes to look at. Flat on the airfield and (very) undulating on the lanes. A very enjoyable race with no problems (plenty of marshalls and water stations)
