In short: Excellent race, well organised by ESM - they know what they're doing.
In full: So lucky with the weather! Snow and ice gone, and the mildest day in weeks. Great goody bag for a value race. My 5th consecutive year, but my times are going backwards. Next year though....

In short: In with the Outlaws!
In full: My first attempt at the distance, this was a superb race. Excellently organised by One Step Beyond, us athletes were really well looked after, especially on the run with frequent well-stocked feed stations. Lots of encouraging crowd support. Plenty of very helpful and friendly marshalls. Not a cheap race, but you could see where the money had been spent.
Afterwards I did say 'Never again!', but now I'm thinking 'Mmmm, next year....'

In short: Great, well organised race by ESM. Always a pleasure.
In full: I was not pleased when I saw Death at the start line, but he didn't have his scythe with him, so I live to run another day...

In short: Fab race on a frosty morning!
In full: Smooth organisation from ESM, great encouragement from marshalls (esp during kids race), altogether super run on a lovely sunny morning. Good goody bag too.
My boys did the U15s Fun Run, and enjoyed that as well. Impressed with their goody bags, considering it was only £1 to enter!

In short: Another super TT
In full: Ran this event a few weeks ago when I was unexpectedly staying in nearby Worthing. Nice friendly low-key TT in a pleasant park - is that miniature railway still running? They even handed out energy bars to the finishers. This is the fourth of the UKTTs I've run, and I hope to return someday. Thanks to the friendly marshalls and organisers.

In short: Running in a Winter Wonderland.....
In full: Great race in the wonderful Hyde Park, though the Winter Wonderland made the place busier than usual. Thanks to all the friendly marshalls, helpers and all at Serpentine for their excellent organisation (and a nice For Goodness Shake at the finish).
My second year doing this race, and a new PB at the distance. Cheers!

In short: Really nice event with improved course.
In full: Second year doing this race. Liked the new course, which reduces the section along the A40, missing out the subway dip, and finishing with a nice lap of the running track.
Improved my time too, despite dropping my locker key and having to run back to pick it up...
Marshals were great, bravely standing out there in the pouring rain and still shouting encouragement!
Many thanks to Fiona and all at ESM for putting on the best local race.

In short: Another fantastic event from the TT folks!
In full: I think this is my favourite of the three TTs I've tried - a little closer to home and slightly more challenging course. And then you get to ride round the wonderful Richmond Park for afters. Just great!

There aren't enough superlatives to describe how fantastic the whole TT concept is. Many thanks to Karen and all the organisers and marshalls.

In short: Great run in a lovely park!
In full: Thanks to Dulwich Runners for a really good race based in the wonderful Dulwich Park, with friendly, encouraging and helpful marshalls. I got a PB and a spot prize! My eldest son did the 2 mile junior run, while my youngest did the fun run, so a family affair all round.
Regarding the comments concerning the medals - these were fine. In any case, the less spent on them by Dulwich means more money for their chosen charity L'Arche Lambeth.

In short: Disappointing - First time on the Common and not a single Womble....
In full: Fantastic race with a really nice relaxed, low-key feel. Good crowd, great organisation, lovely setting, muddy puddles, horses, windmill, free - what more could you ask for? Everything you've read about WCTT/BPTT is true.
