In short: Well organised andgood support round the whole course
In full: Virtually faultless organisation but would prefer the race packs to be sent out slightly earlier.
Well stocked and manned water / lucozade stations.
Beginner friendly and a lot of non club runners taking part.

In short: Can't fault the organisation, the marshalls or the race at all.
In full: Truly excellent and friendly from start to finish. Recommended no matter what your speed - just enjoy it.

In short: Unseasonally hot this year but the support gets better.
In full: Returned after my first half marathon last year. Organisation was generally good but the absence of water at mile 6 (and also mile 3 for the slower runners)should never have happened. Finishing area seemed bigger this year which was most welcome.

In short: A huge catalogue of organisational blunders
In full: 1) Starting the wheelchair race without realising that they would reach the back end of the queue of runners waiting to start their race.
2) The announcer stating that your time would be calculated from when you crossed the start line but the official times being taken from the gun and not corrected.
3) The finishing area for runners being too small and too close to the supporters.
4) Receiving a medium T-shirt in the goody bag despite pre-registering and being handed a bag from the extra large box.
5) Issuing chips for timing and then not using them to record when you crossed the start line.
6) No starting pens beyond 45 minutes!! and thus 1500 slower runners were left in one big mass.
7) The narrow streets at the start and mixed up start causing major congestion in the opening 2km.

The only good points were the enthusiastic marshalls, a large crowd of supporters and the medal.

I won't be back

In short: Fantastic event made even more special by the winter sunshine
In full: A tough & fun roller coaster of a race through the Lincolnshire countryside. I'm sure the longest (and only) flat section prior to the finish was only 150m in length. The only change I would make to the fantastic organisation would be to erect a couple of finger post signs to direct traffic up toward the Kings Road - but other than that faultless.

In full: Organisation, planning and encouragment from the marshalls couldn't be faulted. Undualtions a plenty including some big ones that make your run as challenging as you want it to.

In short: Well organised race in all respects
In full: A very well organised race from the direction signs to the car park, to registration and the race itself which was well martialled. Really good goody bag. Shame that there were not more people running but hopefully it will get grow with future runnings
