In short: A good day out...
In full: All was good, nothing bad to say about the day! Well located waterstations. Well done to the club for organising a great run.

In short: Marshalls - well done, and thank you.
In full: Far from a PB (over 40 minutes slower actually! Yep I came last), but nevertheless, a great day out and the first of the year for me! Lots of Marshalls, very friendly & encouraging, 2 well located waterstations, great facilities at base.

See you next year.

In short: Well organised...
In full: A well organised run for all abilities. Lots of hills, a water station just past 5k, friendly marshalls, friendly crowds... I've done many 10k runs this year - this one is definitely one of the few that I will consider running again.

In short: disappointed...
In full: i ran it slow, but was well within the allocated time after the first lap by about 5 minutes (as mentioned on their website/letter) - however, the mile markers were gone on my second lap and direction signs also! And where were the marshalls? Won't be doing this one again...

In short: Friendly Marshalls!
In full: Marshalls were friendly, the roads were nicely closed off, and the start was unique (ladies and men starting seperately).

They ran out of lucozade drinks at the start line though!!!... and only one drinks station? If the race is also aimed at beginners, 2 water stations would be have been nice.

In short: Very well organised.
In full: Thanks to the organisers for a memorable day... the 2 lap start, the 1 lap finish, the encouragement (marshalls, and public), the excellent marshalling, the very well placed water stations, the firestation sprinklers/shower, the momento and the banana... !

The last 3 miles is all down hill!!

In short: Help yourself to the baggages!!!
In full: Good event, great medal... but...

- baggage situation was appalling. I'm not complaining about the huge queues, that's to be expected. But the security was non-existent. The baggage area was swamped with runners helping themselves to all of bags.

- The people who were walking were forcing runners from behind to slow down. There should be a late start for everyone who intends to walk - the organisers should consider this for next year.

In short: good fun!!
In full: A good evening out - more of a dodge-walk-jog, than a run!! But the atmostphere was great, with friendly marshalls and live music!... the course was approx 9-10k.

In short: nice flat course... plenty of water!
In full: A nice flat course (it doesn't get much flatter than this), 3 laps of it, great atmosphere. Nice sunny day, lots of shade under the trees, plenty of bottled water along the way...

But where were the marshalls? They all seemed to have disappeared after the 1st lap!!! ... maybe I was running too slow...

In short: Not bad...
In full: 3 laps of a course on pavement with a couple of hills (not too steep though). The course was marshalled quite well and the marshalls were friendly and encouraging.

Why were the souvenirs mug's not at the finish line though?

I would probably do this one again, but next year, I'll bring my own water!...
