In short: Brilliant but brutal
In full: I loved this race. But be warned - it's not for the feint hearted. No need to bang on about the mud - you can read that in all the other reviews. What I will bang on about, though, is the absolutely top level organisation; this is how to put on an event; anyone thinking of organising something like this should speak to Sharon - she is the business! The Marshalls (with a capital M!)deserve all the above credit, and more; not at all sure I could do it with such good humour. Well done to everyone involved. Everyone. You know who you are.

In short: A good, flat 20: widely used as a training run for marathons
In full: 4 Laps of a 5 mile course - not everyones' idea of a bag o laughs, but once you've got the first lap under your belt you can start concentrating on your running.
Very well organised - how an event should be run - take note Nova. A special shout out to the marshalls and drinks-station volunteers who were very helpful at aevery stage and incredibly supportive. Cheers.
Invaluable training run if your doing a marathon or similar event any time soon.
While not an absolute favourite event, it's up there with the most useful and valuable training runs you will find in this part of the world.

In short: Well organised, scenic run with PB potential.
In full: Most enjoyable 10miler in the beautiful Wiltshire counryside. My first time on this course - wish I'd done it long ago!
Good weather made it memorable.
Cheeky little hill at 7 miles - no-one tells you about!
A good day, with good organisation, and a PB to boot!
Well done City of Salisbery - see you next year.

In short: perfectly good training run if up for a marathon soon!
In full: Pleasant route with little traffic, gently undulating. Really good experience if you've got a place in the Shakespeare Marathon, Stratford, as they both involve two laps!
I used this as a training run for Edinburgh, and as such I found it very useful "Training miles in the bank".
Highly recommended; will do it again next year
