In short: Excellent race, extremely enjoyable
In full: Frome did themselves proud for their first ever half marathon. Organisation was fantastic, everyone involved helped create a friendly, jovial atmosphere to make this a great event. The crowds en route were terrific, I almost felt like I was the race leader such was the reception from them. Plenty of water stations and lovely countryside helped ease the pain of some of those difficult hills. Would definitely recommend this race, although be prepared for those hills and potential hot July weather. Hope to be back next year.

In short: Excellent race and fantastic support from the people of Hastings
In full: My third time doing this race and the hills in the first part are becoming more challenging with age. But the support from the crowd all the way round the course is inspirational, thank you to everyone who came out and cheered us on. Another nice day down on the coast, definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for an enjoyable half marathon experience. Will be back for more next year.

In short: Challenging, but excellent run
In full: Quite a tough run in places, but a very nice route and good atmosphere. Extremely well organised, well done to everyone involved. I would definitely recommend this race and I will be back next year.

In short: Very enjoyable race
In full: I nearly didn't make the start thanks to the delays from London on the trains. Thankfully I did. It was strange running the first couple of miles in complete isolation, but the crowds were still out in force giving encouragement and support, well done to the friendly folk in Peterborough. Once I caught up with fellow runners, it was really enjoyable and although I missed a pb, I still managed a quick time (for me!). Great organisation and an excellent goody bag made this another good day out and I will be back (on time) next year to get that pb.

In short: Tough, but good challenging race in fantastic surroundings
In full: I really enjoyed this race around the grounds of Blenheim Palace, what a wonderful place it is. A very warm day and a few steep hills made it difficult, I had to walk for a while on the 3rd lap after climbing the "big" hill at around 10 miles, but well worth the effort. Thanks to everyone who helped with the organisation and all the encouragement from specatators and marshalls, a really laid back atmosphere made for a good day out.

In short: Brilliantly organised run, excellent facilities and nice flat course
In full: I haven't done an organised 10 mile for ages, so I was glad I joined up for this event. The facilities at the school were excellent and everybody there was really helfpul. With ideal weather conditions and a course that was perfect for a "fast" time, I managed to knock a whole 4 minutes off my recorded personal best for this distance, just goes to show that anything is possible! Big thanks to all the marshalls, who were very encouraging and to the gentleman who showed me the shortcut to the train station. Big thanks to Welwyn Garden City runners too. Overall a very enjoyable morning and I would recommend this to anyone and I'll be back again next time.

In short: Lovely day, friendly atmosphere, brilliantly organised event
In full: I was delighted to be able to take part in an event so close to the area I grew up in. I have played many a game of football on the marshes and it was nice to run a half marathon up there. The organisation was excellent, everyone was so cheery (great warm up routine before the start!) and enthusiastic and the marshalls gave constant support on every lap and it was nice of them to call out runners' names, which really lifted our spirits, especially in the intense heat. It was nice that there was plenty of water available too. All the runners were very encouraging and it made for a great event. Thanks to Ufdance for arranging everything so well, the food, medal and certificate was much appreciated. I will definitely be back for this run next time.

In short: Excellent race, very well organised and great local support
In full: This was my 3rd Reading half and this was the best so far. Although there are huge numbers of people, everything runs so smoothly. The buses, the baggage tents, the drinks stations-well done to everyone who helped out on the day. The support was fantastic too and the stalled starts gives everyone a chance to run at their pace, which creates the perfect opportunity for a PB. Alas, I failed on this front, but I still really enjoyed the day and I will tackle the course again, my ears are still ringing from the crowd in the stadium, terrific stuff!

In short: Magnificent support from boisterous crowds and great sunshine
In full: The support from the crowds is the best I have ever experienced at a race. This was a big boost, especially during the uphill sections which were very challenging this year. Thanks to everyone who turned out to cheer us on. Great weather again, I loved the final couple of miles down by the seafront, this is a really good warm up for an April marathon.

In short: Another fine race down by the sea in lovely conditions
In full: I always know Spring has arrived when this race comes round. This is my 3rd year doing this and it is safe to say now it is my favourite run on the circuit. We were again blessed with glorious weather and I never tire of the long stretch down by the seafront and the great view of the cliffs down by the mariner. Again, the organisation was terrific and well done to baggage handlers and marshalls who were out early in the morning to set up and help out, great job. The goodie bag was excellent too.Yes, a medal would have been nice to show the kids, but doesn't detract from what was a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable day.
