In short: Superb, BUT what happened to my chip-timing?
In full: Very little not to like about this race and a big thank you to TWRC and the lovely people of Tunbridge Wells.

In short: Did the First, which was dire. This was confirmation.
In full: My feeling after doing the first one, was that profit was being put before all else. Although I have to admit I enjoyed elements of this race, (to be specific, going sub 1.40 and a smart t-shirt)there is little to mark this race out. This has to be one of the few major events that can't be bothered to put mile markers out. For 46 squids you would expect some kind of goodiebag, although I do remember the hilarity of the comments of the first goodie bag; which contained a teabag, sample shower gel and a tonne of leaflets. This race stinks from start to finish of people who know little about running but lots about marketing and profiteering. For those reading this, look around. check out some of the smaller races. thanet coastal marathon etc. cheap as chips, seamlessly organised, goodies, amazing marshalls.
However, I am local. I knew the organisation was going to be incompetent at best, so responded appropriately. I brought my bike (unlike some who were stuck at charlton wondering what happened to the bus!)
Also, baggage people were lovely and marshalls en route and water station bods were all stars. (as was amazing dj on sainsburys roundabout corner (one between asda and sainsburys) your music was stunning, could have stayed there post race for the rest of day.
Final note: someone mentioned inappropriate music. I am guessing this is the dj on the finishing line, playing 'fuck you, i'm going to do what i want to' surrounded by heaps of kids and young families.

In short: Faultless . a stunning coastal marathon, an hour from London
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this one, from the magnificent scenery in the first half, to the old dears in deckchairs complementing my legs in the second! Marshalling was superb and the goody bag and t-shirt, cosidering the entry price, superb. I applaud trrac for banning the use of headphones and I think one of the results was more fellow runner banter than perhaps i'm used to! Thanks marshalls, spectators and trr for a perfect day.

In short: well worth the long drive down from London
In full: weather very similar to my first time, except considerably warmer. It's a lovely run, with superb views out to sea, especially when the rain began to clear on the return leg. superb marshalling, in particular the lady who kept reappearing
to cheer folk on. Thanks!

In short: not the best start
In full: Being one of the many that got delayed at the bag drop, i arrived at the green pen on the late side, and then had to spend the next 5 miles trying to pass a sea of pink bibbed people. Shame really, as it took the sparkle off a bit for me.

In short: cracker, if you're a massochist
In full: would echo all comments made but also really really nice t-shirt. I think there was the 'idea' of a water station but it just never got used, hey ho, not a big deal for the distance. I also liked the ability to see your time up right away. Well-marshalled, but there were points on the course, especially down at the bottom, where it could have got quite hairy! And finally, maybe a magaphone for next year, organisers instructions at the start largely unheard i'd imagine..
