In short: Muddy & friendly. A real challenge. In full: Mud, mud, water, mud, the odd llama, mud, encouraging friendly marshalls and more mud. Good scenery I think - too busy trying to stay upright, (Dancing on Ice eat your heart out!) Flat apart from one tortuous hill and a couple of bridges that felt like mountains at the end after all that mud. Interesting wooden llama medals and great soup and bread at the end. For the spectators good cake and cups of tea for sale and a football match. For the kids well organised three and one mile races and a skate park (mud free!) Date of review: February 18, 2007
