In short: Perfect flat course on a beautiful footpath along the Thames In full: My first 10km in 2 years and what a way to get back into it! This was a gorgeous run along a flat course with a couple of interestingly short, steep bridges to cross. I bet this would be fun in the mud too! Definitely a friendly race with good support from marshals along the route. Lovely medal and t-shirt too to commemorate the event. Am now thinking of tackling the Half next year....! Only complaint would be the long queue to the toilet although the sports centre did let competitors use their (proper) facilities! Date of review: March 26, 2012

In short: If you ignore the wind, it's a great race! In full: I was on for a PB but unfortunately the wind in the last 2 miles completely sapped me! Overall it was a good race with lovely conditions (apart from the wind!) and great support. From reading everyone else's comments, I think I was the only person who moved myself back a couple of waves at the start to try and be more realistic. Still we're all champions to finish and well done to everyone who made it to the finish line! Date of review: October 26, 2009

In short: Lovely flat course with superb organisation. In full: First time I have run this distance and I suprised myself by unofficially beating my anticipated time by 3 minutes. The race was very well-organised and the race was very good value for money with a nice medal, t-shirt and goody bag. Support on the road was good too with marshalls friendly and encouraging and local residents providing additional water stations and hosepipes to cool runners down! Only gripe was the start of the race as it was a bit of a bottleneck getting out of the park, but otherwise I enjoyed every minute. Date of review: May 10, 2009

In short: Pleasant Saturday morning run In full: Nice and flat race with a respectable turnout, that was very well organised. The marshalls weren't very encouraging but the organisers were very welcoming and pleasant. Well done to everyone else who took part! Date of review: September 13, 2008

In short: Tough, but worth it! In full: Good run although the hill at the end tested everyone's determination! It would also have been a good idea to close the road to Seldon Farm as an oncoming tractor, 2 4x4s and a motorbike seemed determined to flatten runners at the end of the race!
