In short: Friendly and well-organised. Great race. In full: My first 10k after time off with dodgy knee and this was challenging but great fun. Really well-organised with loads of friendly marshalls to offer words of encouragement. Quite evil hill which you have to do twice (once right at the end) but lovely woodland to take your mind off it. Tea and homemade cakes and a medal at the end. Fantastic, welcoming atmosphere and good support from organisers and fellow runners. Hope they do more of these. Will definitely be back. Date of review: September 23, 2007
