In short: Enjoyable adventure. In full: Quite different to the racing format I'm used to but an enjoyable adventure along the towpaths of Brum. Well marshalled and plenty of drinking water on a warm day! One small point. Ipod/mp3 users should be discouraged from using them in this kind of race. Was challenging trying to get past them on the narrower parts of the towpath as they couldn't hear me calling to pass. I'm not the best of swimmers!! Date of review: July 4, 2010

In short: Beautiful scenery, great PB potential In full: Beautiful day, easy parking. Toilets eventually sorted out. Bit of confusion over the start. Bottleneck just after start which could have been avoided. Great scenery and lovely quiet roads. Well manned water stops and clear mile and half mile markers. T shirt, way too big but all that was left. Enjoyed this race and although there were hiccups, they were minor and can be corrected for next year. Would definately do again.
