In short: Brilliant atmosphere, the best half marathon I've done and I've run a lot of them.
In full: I expected something different in this race from the website and pre race info and I wasn't disappointed. The organisation was great, the bands and booming music round the course gave you a real lift. The guy under the North Bridge with a scottish accent barking encouragment over a microphone to a backing of rock music was a hoot. And to top it all great weather. I'll definitely back next year.

In short: A great course but i won't do it again until the start is changed
In full: A great event with good friendly organisation but I think after this years race the organisers really need to change the start. Just like a lot of people I narrowly missed running into hidden posts in the middle of the cramped starting 50 yards, and then kerbs try to trip you on the tight turns.
