In short: Good course, with potential to grow, but wtih a few tweeks
In full: Great course, great company enjoyed the stadium finishand had a pb.Could become a race with a huge following, could do with it`s own web site or at least page and lamp post mounted mile marks, the one on the road were next to useless, but will have a lash next year.

In short: Hard,Challenging and great stuff!
In full: This is a run if you fancy a challenge, and a challenge is what you`ll get.Great views, bright sunshine and good variety of terrain.the first hill was a continual joy but once you beat it its the wind in your hair til the next sharp climb,up and over to the trig point and a run into the end through the lane and forestry. If you want to bite off more than you can chew, bite this you`ll love it !

In short: I thought the cardiff half was poor, relax lads, the heats off.
In full: I have been looking foward to this one for some time. When I got my first look at the runners village,I could not believe it.I was there early, and it looked like the severn estury at low tide. There where still thousands of runner to come.Did the organisors not see the mud and water in the morning or check the weather forecast.Plastic walkways can be rolled down in half an hour with a dozen men to hand! The stewards at the end and beginning were out of their depth, where was the ops manager?I saw a lady being sick and cramped at the end, poor girl and all for the sake of a blanket and a freeflowing system. For heaven`s sake and the sake of the runner Learn the lessons.Runners before economy every time!!!

In short: Enjoyable race, got a PB
In full: Gripe first,T shirt,After reading in the literature that you can collect a t shirt at the end of the race with your number,no worries thinks I,then after stipulating on the r/w entry xl,I turned up after the race to recieve a medium?!If this has been accounted for with my entry what happened to it?is it to much to see that you are more likely to get more xls at the end of the race than the middle or end? ditto bok 99

In short: Yikes!no elbow room at the start.
In full: I like this race on the whole but ran into some confusion early on as some organisers where saying the childrens race was to start at one point and then another. The adults race was a bit cramped at the first bend and slope and into henry street, elbows where everywhere and oops and sorrys.Needs sorting for the 50th,especaily as it will go in runners world as the 50th.Big crowds will need more room! But despite these things I enjoyed.I shall return next year on the trail of another PB.

In short: Nice boxing day trot, friendly folks, just the ticket to shake of xmas day
In full: Nice course to run as the undulations are just enough so that you can stick to your pace and not knock yourself out, which is a plus for an improver like me!Well done Arthur and the gang, but can we have tea and coffee on sale at the finish to keep my wife happy!?
