In short: Brilliant debut in my home town
In full: This was my first half in over three years. I saw this advertised a few months back and with the start only about 5 mins walk from my house, I signed up, at a time when I could barely run for half an hour. So I have a lot to thank the organisers for - giving me back my desire and enthusiasm for running, spurring me on to train for the last few months and beat my PB by over 10 minutes, breaking the two hour mark. I would also emphasise all the other positive feedback on here, this was a race organised by runners for runners. There was something really special about running in my home town, especially as others have said all the fantastic cheering supporters and marshals(the man in his dressing gown and slippers around Cuckoo Lane, the people from the residential home, all the kiddies high fiving, the crowd in the park at the finish etc) - who needs scenery when there is so much else on offer?! I just hope this will become an annual event, it gave me a warm glow. Well done to all involved. [PS Next year can you tell the Rose and Crown to get some extra bar staff for the post run celebrations?!]

In short: Great way to start the month
In full: I always enjoy this race. Fantastic organisation, friendly people and encouraging marshals even on rainy days like today. Just one small gripe...when will the Hub sort out the toilets?!

In short: Enjoyable first 10k of the winter despite the rain. Marshalls did a fine job. Looking forward to November already.

In short: We've reviewed our definition of 'undulating' - will bring crampons for the hill at 7k next year!
In full: Really enjoyed this race. Found it a challenge but we both achieved PBs. Well organised, shame about the marshy ground in the car park!
