In short: Fantastic views on a blue sky (and warm) day. Very tough though In full: The 5th mile downhill kind of warned of things to come. Never done a run this tough. Only reason I said I wouldnt do it again is that it 'did for me'. Saying that, great scenery and the marshalls were class, all of 'em. Well done to all involved on an unusually warm February day Date of review: February 10, 2008

In short: How hilly?!?!?!?!?!! could they make it anymore challenging???? In full: Great location and well organised, lovely weather for it too, if not a tad warm. The literature that came in the pack mentioned it 'was definitely hilly'...... How difficult was that?????!!!! Compared to the many 10Ks Ive done, this gives Pudsey a close run for difficulty. Why, when its an event that you obviously have a hell of a lot of newbies raising money for charities, does it have to be such a mega challenge. Scare first timers off running for life. I did a 10k there 2 years ago and it wasnt anywhere near this hard. Good day was had but maybe make it a little easier for the hundreds who dont normally do this kind of thing. Heard many conversations on the way round referring to the number of hills and why so tough? Date of review: September 16, 2007

In short: Unexpected climb upto the half way mark. In full: Very well organised, especially the start with groups leaving in 2 minute waves. No chaotic clambering for position through the crowds at most other race starts. Very good throughout. One niggle, why couldnt Sheffield Council arrange free Supertram passes for runners. Quite a few were caught out without money. As I say, a minor niggle and no big deal. Otherwise, a good, well organised event Date of review: September 9, 2007

In short: Bottlenecks and singletrack. Hard for PB's In full: Nice, scenic course. Not too challenging course wise (compared to Pudsey 10). Singletrack meant getting stuck behind people happened frequentley but other than that Id recommend it to anyone Date of review: September 2, 2007

In short: Excellent. Top organisation, good course. In full: A good event. Very successful for its first (hopefully not last) outing. Sheer amount of people made a PB time nigh on impossible even though it felt a quick course. After all though, it was a fun day and not one to be getting too obsessed with times. It was a run to enjoy and I, and im sure many others, did. Well done Jane, a great day. Date of review: June 24, 2007
