In short: Wet, muddy but good fun for a Saturday morning adventure
In full: First of all I would like to thank the organisers for a good race and particularly the marshals who recognised I was going to miss the start and did everything they could so I only just missed it. The first couple of kilometres involved slightly overgrown single track paths in the woods (I’ve got the cuts from the brambles to show for it) and then it was mixed up with paths/tracks and fields. The horse trodden fields did make it tough on the ankles and the mud by the gates meant a kilo of weight on your trainers. With the gates to jump over as well the course was certainly a challenge. It seemed to me that 7k to 9k was short and due to not paying attention and following others missed the gate to the field up to 9k although we did hop over the next available gate from the road. Certainly threw about 10 of us!! A marshal was posted there later after it was mentioned. It was a shame the field wasn’t bigger as I enjoyed the race and the company of the other runners; it was a nice friendly atmosphere.

In short: Amazing feet do it again - Brilliant
In full: A Sunday morning well spent on a beautiful trail run. Great race, well organised. It was certainly tough. Fantastic goody bag, love the medal. Thanks and I hope to see you in July for the ½.

In short: November morning well spent
In full: The organisation accompanied by friendly & encouraging marshals was top class. Great cross country course that was challenging in places, those bomb craters took some determination to charge up. There are not many races I get to the finishing line smiling without a care of my time but this certainly was. Raise my hat to Tom Dable for a great sprint finish. An extremely enjoyable morning, thank you very much Sphinx.

In short: Mud glorious mud!
In full: Very tough going in the mud and surface water. My legs were all over the shop slipping in the mud. Once I got over the shock of how bad the course was I got on with it and enjoyed the 2nd lap. A very satisfying saturday morning run. Thank you Tamworth AC.

In short: Hot day but always love running this event
In full: Local race and not missed it for the last 4 years. Although the hottest race for me of the year so far it was still a very enjoyable event, well organised as always. It is a shame the numbers only marginally increased on last year, especially with a 800 race limit. It may be challenging course with the hills up to 7K but what a great traffic free course it is with good vocal and water support from the locals. Hope to make it again next year. Thanks Northbrook.

In short: The venue backed by the weather made this event!
In full: Pitsford was a superb setting for this event and the weather was just perfect. If I also include a very satisfying PB this was personally a truly brilliant event. I do have to agree with others that NRICC did let themselves down on organisation. They are only a charity after all and not a running club but no event should be organised without toilet facilities. No momento and a t-shirt that was a large lady-fit! I felt sorry for those that had to cross the finishing line whilst weaving through traffic exiting by the finish line. I did thoroughly enjoy the race and hope to be back next year, please keep with March, but would expect to see some improvements in the organisation.

In short: Tougher than expected!
In full: It was a 'No Frills' event but very well organised. Bit heavy going on the run course on 90% grass but not muddy. The bike certainly was challenging however those seasoned pro's made light work of it. An enjoyable race that I would like to do better at next time. Well worth the trip.

In short: Very enjoyable – few cheeky hills
In full: This was my first at this event and my first of the year and I thoroughly enjoyed it. An excellent course, well marshalled and a good atmosphere even though there were only 140 entrants. A few cheeky hills especially at 6½ but that made the finish line all the more rewarding. A big thanks to Juliet and Sara who I had never met before but in our own little group we ran a great race which helped me achieve a brilliant PB. Thank you to Wrekin Runners for a well organised event. Hope to be back next year.

In short: Great way to end the tri year
In full: This was a great event to end my first tri year. Organisation brilliant as it has been throughout the year. Great location. The marshall at the swim to bike to run transition was brilliant in voicing his support. Loved this event and will be back next year. Thank you pace setter events/one step beyond.

In short: Very hard, very muddy, extremely rewarding an excellent race.
In full: Bit slow on adding my rating. This has to be my best achievement to date. I have never felt so pleased to see the finishing line. Beautiful day but the ground was very muddy and those hills, oh those hills. I was not offended by the Marmite girl only wish I had some fuel in the tank to stay with and get under the 2 hours. This was very tough but hey I’ll be back next year.
