In short: A perfect run out in the sunshine
In full: First and foremost it was a race organised for charity and I am sympathetic to that . I have no grumbles and found it great fun splashing through puddles and pushing hard at the end . The course came out a little short due to an enforced late change of the course , but these things happen . A small number of people ran it , hopefully more next year in some really pleasant surroundings . All positive for , well done to the Race Organisers - spot on !

In short: My Birthday Race
In full: At my age I wanted to remember this day for a change and this race certainly gave me that .Some of the hills I found hard work , but some were gentle .I had hoped for a pb but it didnt happen .Next year it will , I just hate driving long distances

In short: A good test over this distance
In full: Shame that numbers wernt sent out in the post , this caused a delay to the start . Also ran out of safety pins . excellent marshalling , dont like competing with cars , couldnt concentrate on running , so made it more like a training run . Fantastic Drinks and food at the finish and fairly good Bag , no medal no T Shirt but a nice hat

In short: Not for beginners
In full: Apart from the hills and inclines and stiles at the end , this is a good course , but i didnt see many Steeples . A pb course its not with narrow climbs up rough , loose , stoney paths . My second ever race I would not reccomend for the beginner
