In short: A great run out by the seaside!
In full: Well-organised as usual, the weather was kind to us today, the hills at 8 and 11 miles are still tough... the one thing I always find strange is the Brighton crowd - they are there in numbers, but seem rather bewildered at people running 13.1 miles, rather than actually supporting the event???!!!

In short: Sunshine to thunderstorms made for a challenging morning's race, but enjoyed the challenge.
In full: This race seems to be really well supported in the local community, and the marshalls and supporters help get you round. Excellent value at £12 compared to many other races - so thanks to Quintiles for their sponsorship (and, no, I don't work for them!!!) Slippery finish after the thunderstorms and I MUST remember about the climb in the country (5-7 miles) next year!

In short: A blustery run out!
In full: Unfortunate with the weather but it's England in March so not much anyone could do about it...!!! The race appears to be well received and supported in the town and was, in the main, well organised - my only negative comment was that the 'Runner's World minute milers' arrived after we had all been condensed forward from the timed start points, so were in the wrong start place for their time.

In short: An incredibly well organised race from start to finish
In full: Great value at £9 or £11 (can't remember exactly!) with drink, medal, t-shirt and goody bag at the finish.

The organisation was excellent with great PA system at the start and friendly, numerous marshalls all around the track.

Great PB potential I think in this race, unless your knee gives way at 8.5 miles and you virtually have to hobble the rest of the way round...!!!

In short: Flat and potentially fast, scenic course
In full: My first time in this race and I would do it again. I think the start should be sectioned by time, rather than sex, and slightly more announcements in the starting area wouldn't have gone amiss. Having said that it was a popular race and that has to be a good thing for the sport of running!

In short: VERY hot but enjoyable race, despite the entry nightmares
In full: Should start at least an hour earlier and MUST sort out the issues with entries -what a nightmare it has been - but did not overshadow my enjoyment of the run today. Would have also liked a sign reading 'Half way' though...

In short: A great first-time half marathon - I enjoyed every metre of it!
In full: Only down side was the poor visiblility or complete lack of mile markers for the first 4 miles - didn't see any at this stage which made it difficult to estimate my pace. But overall I had a great run - will sign up for next year too!

In short: Great for a first time 10k-er
In full: Race well-organised and marshalled. Just wish that people would start from a time block that reflects what their finish time may be - I overtook someone walking at 5k who must have started from the 50-60 minute block or earlier!!!
