In short: Windy and hilly but a good race
In full: Great scenic run, with excellent organisation. I found it the toughest half I've ran but not sure why, maybe the hills and head wind. However I really enjoyed the challenge and got a decent time.

Special mention to the marshalls on the way around who were full of support and generally did a great job.

Cracking medal too.

Well done guys.

In short: Superb Marathon & City
In full: Edinburgh's the best city in the world. Afetr doing the Edinburgh 10k in preperation I loved this race.
Everyone has mentioned the wind and it did make it tough but I thought that the flat course, the fantastic marshals & volunteers, as well as the (mostly) East Lothian locals made this something to remember.
Definite PB material even with the wind (I took 50, yes, 50mins off mine!)
Great feeling at Musselburgh racecourse with the stand and the crowd, what an atmosphere!
One thing, I hope Edinburgh DOESNT get a big sponsorship deal. The fact that it was top club runners made it better, more local and more for the people and running community. With a bit of luck, it could be anyone who wins the title as happned.
Well done organisers, thanks.

In short: Great atmosphere in a spectacular city.
In full: Tough in the wind but the most scenic 10k I've ever taken part in.
