In short: I think enough has been said about the more woeful aspects of the organisation but drink stations and toilets were among some of the best I've come across. Runners village was an insult.

In short: Never thought running in gales, rain and up and down Dorset's finest could be such great fun. .
In full: What on earth possess seemingly sane individuals to stand on top of Dorset hills in driving rain and wind to direct and supply runners such as we ? Just thank that they do because without marshals we runners would be training not racing. Great race, great T-shirt.

In short: I just loved this fast and friendly course. Sorry this did not seem to be the same for some others
In full: If you want a well supported (marshalls, sports drinks and alike) go at a PB I don't think you'll find a better option in the South West or South Wales. Pre-race toilets are a problem and a mid race pee cost me some time but I've experienced far worse organisation. Do we expect too much?

In short: Agood hard run but not the killer I expected. A 1 Marshalls and Z 10 traffic. What was wrong with them?
In full: I found this really well run, friendly, picturesque and challenging without being in the category of a really hilly run. Sapping inclines in the last 7 rather than tortuous steeps. Beat PB by one minute despite missing 6 of last 9 weeks full training through injury. The aggressiveness of the local drivers had to be seen to be believed and each and every marshall should be thanked. I thought water stations were totally adequate and I never expect free sports drinks.

In short: Really smoothly run race. Not as hilly as many seem to suggest.
In full: Top race this. Hills were all managable without being too testing and water stations (4) were placed at just the right intervals to be motivating. Didn't run a great race but felt really good at the end - pretty much what it's all about.

In short: Lovely track - awful signage.
In full: Did the 30k and got lost 4 times. No signs at crucial stages and once got directed into a field of heffers(along with many others) with no exit. Hit 3 t-junctions with no marshalls and no signs. Hate to be so negative but I finished exasperated rather than euphoric.

In short: A decent course with testing passages but very exposed in sunshine. An earlier start would be of benefit.

In short: Very supportive marshalling and smooth organisation. Really enjoyed the lap format . Missed a pb by 7 seconds and was feeling over trained so it must have a lot of potential for faster runners than I.

In short: Top marshalling but beware walkers
In full: This is very much a race of two halves. The first is quick and scenic the second long and slow grind up the hills of Salisbury Plain. What I should have anticipated, but didn't, were the hundreds of walkers out on the course for the parallel Sarsen trail. Yes, they were doing their thing - and good for them - but constantly running aroud groups walking four abreast increased the mileage and kept driving me into gutters. Final comment must be praise for WW Trusts superb organisation and the great friendliness that this engendered throughout competitors, marshalls and Police. Well done all.
